Thing #12
Wow! This was neat. I sure liked adding some of the books I read. Hope to add more when I have some extra time. Also nice to see how many members have the same books I do.
Thing #5
I really enjoyed using IM and visiting with Allana.
This would be a wonderful way to chat with family and friends--speedy and "no cost."
I am not sure patrons of the library would use this to ask reference questions.

Thing #11
T - Things: 23
E - Encourage learning
C - Continue learning
H - Hello bloggers
N - Nebraska Learns 2.0
O - Online lessons
L - Lifelong learning skills
O - On the web
G - Goals
Y - Your time to learn
We learn something new everyday. The Nebraska Learns 2.0 course is giving me the opportunity to learn. I really enjoy reading comments from others about each "Thing" they did.
Flickr is one of my favorites. We had a wedding in our family in October (my son) and many pictures were taken. I will now be able to upload wedding pictures, family pictures, etc. to my Flickr account and enjoy them over and over again. No more problems with the bulkiness of scrapbooks and where to put them.
The puzzles, magazine cover, or bookmarks would be wonderful to use with the after-school programs we have each month. Can hardly wait for the next program - Snowtime in January.
RSS was rather new to me. Finding feeds was rewarding for me. Some of the feeds I added are: Library Journal-Book Reviews and Best Books ( a great asset for librarians) and Heart Health Recipes (anyone wanting to stay healthy or with heart problems will benefit).
Technologies on the web - what a great way to learn, accomplish, and benefit.

Thing #10-Holiday with the girls
Thing #10 - I went into MagMyPic and made this magazine cover of my girls at Christmas. This was fun and would really be a fun activity at the after school Christmas program for our preschool thru 4th grade students.

Thing #9
I looked at the Flickr Color Pickr and was intrigued by the colors, texture and style of the pictures. It is very interesting that you may pick one color and have so many variations of pictures.
The Flickrvision would be useful for patrons looking for various pictures taken in other parts of the world and other states.

Thing #8
This is a photo my son took while out hunting last December. I think flickr will be very helpful as it will save pictures for me and I won't have to rely on scrapbooks all over the house.
Thing #7
The easiest was using the blogline search. I found feeds on book reviews and best books. This will help greatly when ordering books for the library. By using feeds it will eliminate alot of paper. I also found a feed that will give me information on living a healthy lifestyle (heart) not only for myself but also for library patrons and my family as well.
Thing #6
With the click of the mouse I think it is amazing what one may put on their computer. I think this feature will be helpful and make me aware of when my regular sites are updated.

7 1/2 Habits of Highly Successful Lifelong Learners
The easiest for me would be to teach/help others out because I enjoy helping others.
The hardest habit for me is to "play" because I have a hard time playing when there is so much work to be done.
